For almost 50 years, the Baby Safety Alliance Verified Seal—formerly JPMA Certified Seal—has helped parents feel confident in choosing safe products for their baby. Baby Safety Alliance Verification is voluntary, and based on adherence to ASTM standards, federal and state laws and some retail requirements. The program is designed to provide peace of mind to parents that these products have been independently tested to the most stringent standards.

Technical Guidance & ResourcesThe Baby Safety Alliance has identified the testing requirements you need to meet through the development of the Program Protocols. These protocols outline all requirements while also identifying where document acceptance is allowed and what evidence is needed to achieve it.
