Join Baby Safety Alliance Associate Member, Smith, Gambrell, & Russell, LLP on Wednesday, February 18, 2026 at 2:00 pm ET for a 45 minute webinar discussing digital accessibility litigation and how it remains a sustained, high-volume risk for ecommerce. In 2025 alone, more than 5,000 ADA-related digital accessibility lawsuits were tracked across federal and key state courts, with activity continuing to expand across multiple jurisdictions. Ecommerce brands are the most frequent targets, accounting for the majority of filings—and repeat lawsuits are common when organizations address issues only partially rather than adopting a durable program.

Jeremy Richardson and Phil Yatvin will provide a practical, ecommerce-focused briefing on the current lawsuit landscape, what plaintiff firms tend to target on consumer websites, and how companies can reduce exposure through a defensible, risk-based accessibility strategy that improves website performance. The presentation will also address why “accessibility widgets” and overlay tools have not reduced legal activity, and what organizations should do to minimize risk.
