The increase in counterfeit and non-compliant products on the market is of incredible concern in the juvenile products industry, where it is not only a competitive matter, it is a significant safety concern. Baby Safety Alliance member companies focus considerable time,
effort and dollars on ensuring their brands are represented accurately in the marketplace, products are tested to all applicable safety standards and parents’ expectations are met.
Producing counterfeit products or misrepresenting non-compliant products is a criminal activity. Addressing this requires action from retailers, manufacturers and regulators. On behalf of our members, the Baby Safety Alliance is working collaboratively with these
stakeholders to identify solutions and mitigate this to the greatest extent possible. We are also making available to our members webinars and other informational resources making it easier for
