Baby Safety Alliance® Announces 2026 Awards of Excellence Winners

Honoring top new baby and children’s products

MT. LAUREL, N.J. | September 21, 2026 – The Baby Safety Alliance recently announced the winners of its 2026 Awards of Excellence. Now in its 37th year, the program evaluates products across nine categories for innovation, market impact, and the ability to improve family safety and convenience.

An independent panel of safety experts, retailers, and journalists selected category winners, while special awards recognized the overall Best in Show and Parents’ Pick honors, as voted on by parents nationwide. 

“Choosing baby products can be overwhelming for parents,” said Alison Jacobson, Executive Director of the Baby Safety Alliance and the Baby Safety Foundation. “An Awards of Excellence recognition distinguishes products bringing exceptional value to the market while celebrating industry innovation and dedication.”

Earning Best in Show honors is Energizer® Ultimate Child Shield™, the first coin lithium battery engineered to help prevent severe internal burns if swallowed. Over 3,500 coin lithium battery ingestions occur in the U.S. annually, mostly involving children under 6. The Innovation winner, Evenflo® Transformer™ Stroller to Wagon Travel System, features an all-in-one design that adapts into nine modes without extra parts. It enhances safety and comfort using SensorySoothe technology and Bluetooth-enabled SensorSafe® alerts to monitor critical conditions.
