Every year JPMA hosts an official business meeting for the association. As a mission driven organization, JPMA relies on the Board of Directors to provide the vision to positively advance our industry. The organization’s Board Directors and Officers are obtained through a governance process that includes a call for nominations, a recommended slate from the nominating committee and finally a vote by the membership of the association which takes place at the JPMA Annual Meeting.
The JPMA Annual Meeting is one of the most important meetings of the year for our membership. In addition to the direct benefits that you receive as a member, your company also receives an important advantage as a recognized leader. Manufacturers who understand the importance of their trade association show a commitment to ongoing industry engagement. The JPMA Annual Meeting offers an important opportunity to exercise this engagement in two distinct ways. First, in officially voting on the slate of board members and officers during the business portion of the meeting. Second, in participating in the only members only event at the JPMA Baby Show, providing a unique opportunity to connect with your peers and build lasting relationships.
All members, including those exhibiting at or registered to attend the JPMA Baby Show are encouraged to participate, and all employees of member companies are invited to participate. Each regular member of the association shall designate one company representative to vote on behalf of the member.
