JPMA Awards $12,500 In Academic Scholarships

JPMA is pleased to award $12,500 in academic scholarships to five recipients for the 2016 school year.

JPMA recently distributed five, $2,500 scholarships to children of JPMA member company employees, in their pursuit of excellence in higher education. The awards are based on scholastic achievement and future potential, leadership and participation in school and community activities, work experience, career aspirations and goals.

The recipients of the 2016 Scholarship Program are: 


Emily-Jane Cosgrove of Joovy

Emily attends St. Edward’s University in Texas. She is majoring in graphic design and will graduate next year. 




Lindsay Del Duke of Ginsey Industries

Lindsay attends Montclair State University in New Jersey. She majors in Biology and will graduate in 2018.

 

 

Lindsey Haines of Evenflo

Lindsey will attend Wright State University in Ohio this fall and major in Nursing. She plans to graduate in 2020. 





Yusef Kana of Crown Crafts


Yusef will attend Louisiana State University in Louisiana this fall. He plans to major in Chemical Engineering and graduate in 2020. 




Bailey King of Mattel

Bailey attends Mercyhurst University in Pennsylvania. She is majoring in Biochemistry and will graduate in 2018

The Scholarship Program was instituted in 1995 with the hope of making more students aware of the juvenile products industry. Since the program’s inception, JPMA has awarded more than $237,500 to 120 students.
