  • Patents: Protecting inventions, including products, processes, and methods, with a focus on utility, design, and plant patents.

  • Trademarks & Trade Dress: Safeguarding words, symbols, logos, and other identifiers of products or services, including distinctions between trademarks, service marks, and trade dress.

  • Trade Secrets: Protecting valuable, confidential business information that provides a competitive edge.

  • Copyrights: Protecting original works of authorship, including literary, artistic, and software creations.


Bios:

Sarah Gottlieb, Partner – Tampa. Sarah’s practice includes representing clients in connection with contract, trade secret, copyright, trademark infringement, patent, and business tort litigation. She has litigated cases in federal courts throughout the United States.Prior to joining the Firm, Sarah clerked for a federal judge. Her law school honors include the Williams F. Blews Award for exemplary pro bono service, and she has continued to contribute her time to pro bono matters during her legal career.

 

Christina Faltermeier, Associate – Atlanta | New York. Christina has experience within the intellectual property sector, including patent, trademark, and IP technology law, as well as corporate law, focusing on mergers and acquisitions, international law, and antitrust law. She has experience reviewing commercial and IP agreements, drafting due diligence reports, writing legal briefs, writing and reviewing licensing agreements, terms of services, terms of use, and contract conditions. She also has a background with U.S., Australian, and German law. Before joining SGR, Christina worked for multiple renowned national and international law firms, having lived, and worked in Munich, Frankfurt, Berlin, Hamburg, and Sydney.
