Need to Know: Responsible Production, Use and Management of PFAS Several states have proposed legislation to ban PFAS in juvenile products. Join JPMA and the American Chemistry Council for a webinar on Thursday, April 15, 2021 at 3pm EDT to help you understand the basics of PFAS chemistry, its uses and current public policy trends. Per- and polyfluoroalkly substances (PFAS) are a diverse universe of chemistries that enable a range of products in various sectors including consumer goods and juvenile products. Although PFAS are widely used and have many important applications, each chemistry has unique properties. - Learn about the responsible production, use, and management of PFAS and how PFAS are used in key products;
- Find out about trends in PFAS regulation, current bills and existing legislation at the state and federal level; and
- Understand why a "one size fits all" approach to regulating PFAS can be overly broad and have unintended consequences.
