Join JPMA Associate Member, Intertek on Wednesday, January 20, 2021 at 2pm EST as they discuss how connectivity and the IoT revolution are transforming our lives, and bringing huge benefits for consumers. However, they also bring significant risks to privacy, security, and safety. Given the paramount of importance of these concerns with babies and children, cybersecurity is especially important in connected juvenile products. Intertek has been working with cybersecurity since the 1980s, with products ranging from servers used in national security applications and connected surgical robots, through to smart toys and baby monitors. Intertek will be presenting JPMA members on the principles of secure design, regulations currently covering cybersecurity, consumer perceptions/concerns and options currently available to ensure and demonstrate a high level of security in your product. This webinar would be of interest for manufacturers who have developed, or are looking to develop, connected products.
