It's no secret that reviews are important, especially to new and expecting moms -- but how important? Because consumer reviews typically roll in along with other brand efforts -- digital marketing campaigns, influencer posts, co-op programs -- it's challenging to identify precisely how much reviews move the needle, not to mention which components of reviews make the most difference. Stellar collaborated with an independent data scientist to a design a study to scientifically measure how different review variables (like number of reviews and average star rating) impact likelihood to purchase. We also analyzed review language to identify which types of content are most likely to drive purchase, as well as assessed the impact of consumer generated photos and FTC disclosure language. Join us for a deep dive into the numbers, along with actionable insights to help increase sales and drive trust in your brand and products.
Allyson Downey is the CEO of Stellar Reviews. She is also the founder of weeSpring, heralded as "Yelp for baby products" by CNBC and InStyle magazine, and the author of Here's the Plan: Your Practical, Tactical Guide to Advancing Your Career through Pregnancy and Parenthood.
